Every year on the third Thursday of November, the very first wine of the most recent harvest is released, and across France glasses are filled with young and punchy Beaujolais Nouveau. At Amélie, we've updated the tradition for true oenophiles. We'll be celebrating all month with three spectacular vintage wines from the Beaujolais region that reflect the dimensions and finesse of the region's iconic Gamay Noir.

Fleurie “Roche Guillon”, Domaine de Fa
23 / 88Brothers Maxime and Antoine Graillot farm this steep granite slope biodynamically. The result is the floral side of Fleurie with a firm, mineral spine. Tart cherry and wild raspberry lead into a hint of anise, then a long finish of smoky stone and red fruit. Biodynamic.
Chiroubles “Fontenelle”, Famille Mélinon
20 / 76The nose on this expressive Beaujolais carries us away to the rolling granite hills of Chiroubles. Full of fresh berry flavor and whimsical earthy notes, this fresh red is Gamay showing its most authentic self. Organic.
Morgon Vieilles Vignes, Anthony Thevenet
19 / 72In this biodynamic beauty, the old-vine Gamay grapes lend a backbone of soft tannins and elusive herbal notes to the juicy plum fruit and red berry bouquet we love in a Beaujolais. The perfect red to pair with a table of plates to share. Biodynamic.
